The beautiful island of Bali has been a tourist destination for many years.
It was in the early seventies that surfers discovered the amazing quality and diversity of waves in this tropical paradise.
When Alby Falzon’s generation defining movie ‘Morning of the Earth’ was released showcasing the magically perfect waves of Uluwatu being surfed by Rusty Miller and Butch Cooney , the floodgates opened. And surfers from all over the world put Bali on the top of their list of ‘places I want to surf’
These days a huge percentage of the tourists that arrive in Bali are surfers.
Indeed Bali has now become one of the Mecca’s of the surfing world.
Bali Surf Info is a site dedicated to surfing in Bali.
Our mission is to provide useful information for surfers who are travelling to Bali and Indonesia as a whole.
We also hope to promote the businesses of the local Balinese and the tourist industry as a whole in Bali.
We are in the process of building the largest directory of business and web site links that are related to surfing in Bali.
